Today would be Boots' 7 year anniversary with me and 15th "birthday."

In lieu of going to life drawing, I thought it might be nice to finally make him a little tribute. This is just about how I imagined him taking off to his next adventure.

Back to the #ImprovementHell challenge! This time is drawing a landscape of a place I've never been or drawn. Well I've been looking at a bunch of cartoony background art, and I can say for sure I've never been here... so...

And just a quick shot of the birthday card I made my sister because it's just been too long since I've posted anything.

Now for the next! I was supposed to create a scene with objects in the room.

Well again, I'm in a cubicle and short of making something with pens and mugs and staplers, I thought this would be more interesting. Plus I did arrange the plants. So it counts...

This one is to pick the weirdest object in your room and draw it with shadows and highlights:

So since I'm at my desk and not in a room, this gem team present from Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is probably the most interesting thing I can draw. Or at least the light looks cool on it!

A Thief in the Night

I've needed to get this little guy out of my system for a while...

Back in October, we went camping in Death Valley, and there was an adorable kangaroo rat who kept stealing our marshmallows. He had the guiltiest face when we finally caught him in the flashlight.

I'm pretty sure he looked just like this. :)

Well this was interesting - the specs for my character were:

Body Type: Tall, Heavy

Clothing: Heavy Robes

Head Type: Human Female, Old

Weapon/Accessory: Headdress

So, after a few iterations, I'm ready to be done!
